Good afternoon, Maniacs! Today we’d like to cover these beautiful, highly-collectible Return to Monster Island single-issue variants.
Graham has a pretty impressive list of artist friends, and we’re put three of them to work creating covers for a very special, very limited run of single-issue comics. Return to Monster Island #1, #2, and #3 will have covers by legendary artists Butch Guice, Lee Weeks, and Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez. These editions are strictly limited to only 100 copies each, and are available individually for $20, or as a money-saving set of three for $50. All copies will be hand-signed by Graham Nolan. We think they’re going to be monstrously rare!
These three issues contain the complete Return to Monster Island story that is also available as a single hardcover volume.
A complete set of Monster Island prints by Lee Weeks, Butch Guice, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Kelley Jones, Pat Olliffe, Tom Richmond, Mark Nelson, Bart Sears, and Graham himself is also available in the “You Really Love Monsters” reward box. The box also contains the whole set, as well as a heaping helping of other Monster Island goodies, including the full-color hardcover edition of the original Monster Island, the Return to Monster Island oversized hardcover, the print set, and a torso sketch by Graham Nolan himself!
Thanks for joining us! We’ll be back tomorrow with more monster goodness!

Hello, Monster Maniacs!
With so many great pledge levels, it’s time to spotlight one of our favorites, the Graham Nolan head sketch!
Some of the best comics ever had floating heads on the covers, right? Now is your chance to get a monstrous or heroic or villainous head sketch of your choice drawn as only the devilish Graham Nolan can.
Grahm Nolan Head Sketches!
For a pledge of $165 or more, you get an awesome inked head sketch, measuring 5 inches by 8 inches, as well as physical and digital copies of Return to Monster Island. What more could a MONSTER fan want?

Hello again, Maniacs! Hope your days are going ghoulishly well! Today we’re highlighting the full-color version of the classic Monster Island. What it is it? Where did it come from? And why is it so furry?
As some of you may know, we recently brought Graham Nolan’s Monster Island 20th Anniversary Edition to Kickstarter. This Creator’s Edition was an 11x17 giant, each page was scanned from Graham’s original toned boards. It was very much for the art connoisseurs among you, and only the original 300 copies will ever be printed.
So, with Return to Monster Island looming, we felt this would be prime time to produce the first full-color version of the story that started it all, Monster Island. This brand-new, full-color version will be an oversize hardcover, matching Return to Monster Island in size to make a perfect two-volume set.
We knew we needed a colorist with just the right touch to bring the pages of Monster Island to life. Cue veteran colorist Greg Wright. Greg’s long list of credits includes Amazing Spider-Man, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Captain America, and many more. Greg put his thorough knowledge of color theory to use in keeping the pages simple and lush. We think it’s gorgeous!
You can get the full-color version of Monster Island and the sequel, Return to Monster Island, in the “Get Both” tier for a pledge of $65, or in any of the limited Monster Boxes that are up for grabs now.

Gooooooood morning, Monster Maniacs! One day in, and we’ve already crushed 20% of our funding goal thanks to you!
Nobody says "thank you" like Big Blue
Thanks for your early pledges. It really means a lot to have everyone back here with us for Return to Monster Island, and we’re thrilled to see that we’ve got some new Maniacs as well! Some folks have asked how they can help, and all we can say is “Tell your friends!” Seriously. Your participation and recommendations have a great impact. If each of you tells three people about the campaign, this thing will catch on like wildfire!
In that spirit, we have something to share with you! Our friend Bart Sears is in the final week of his campaign for Drawing Powerful Heroes: Brutes and Babes Volume 2. Bart was an instructor at the Kubert School, and his How to Draw column in Wizard Magazine taught an entire generation of comic creators how to illustrate and break into comics. We hope you’ll consider checking it out! It’s a truly great project.
