We here at Ominous Press and Creation.Ink hope that you are safe and healthy in this challenging time.
We wanted to make you aware of an exciting project from a Friend of Ominous that is currently crowdfunding his newest graphic novel. You likely know writer/artist Graham Nolan from his legendary Batman work, including co-creating famed Bat-villain Bane, as well his two Ominous Press hardcover adventures, Monster Island and Return to Monster Island.
Graham’s latest project is a spine-chilling horror comic called THE CHENOO. Set in Buffalo (home to Ominous Press and Creation.Ink!), the terrifying tale reveals what happened during the the blizzard of 1977, when the blood-thirsty creature known as Chenoo came stalking out of the snow. Now in the present day, as another blizzard descends, the horror is happening all over again! Written and drawn by Graham Nolan, THE CHENOO is classic horror by a classic creator!
THE CHENOO is being offered right now on Indiegogo, but the campaign ends in just a few days! Now’s the time to get your copy, before it’s too late, along with other great reward tiers and stretch goals.

Thank you for all your support of Ominous Press and Creation.Ink projects in the past! We literally could not do this without you. We wanted to make you aware of a new Kickstarter campaign we’ve just launched. Demi-God is an over-the-top superhero romp in which a typical slacker inherits the power of the legendary Hercules. Written by Ron Marz and illustrated by Andy Smith, Demi-God is one part Deadpool-inspired romp, one part Thor-style mythic adventure.
The Demi-God collected edition features all four issues of the mini-series, two of which have never been available previously. There’s also a bonus story, a complete cover gallery, and an expansive sketchbook section, all in a 144-page package. If we reach the $7,500 funding goal, collection will be a beautiful, comic-sized softcover. If we exceed the $15,000 goal, the entire package will be upgraded to an oversize hardcover volume!

Monster Island creator Graham Nolan stopped by our offices yesterday for a marathon signing session, slapping his autograph in all the pledged copies of Return to Monster Island, as well as the Monster Island color edition, and the very limited Monster Island single issues.
Graham Nolan said, "I paid a visit to the crypt at Ominous Press and signed all your loot yesterday, so be on the lookout for your packages to arrive shortly. If you haven't filled out your Backerkit info, get on that. Don't make me send Lizardo over there! The Creation.Ink team's hard work really shows on this project. The books look amazing!"
